Aneris: Liorath's Clutch!

Okay, I've finally broken down most of this clutch, and I think I can hatch it. However, the matches may not be as exact as they have been in the past. This one has just been a very tough clutch. I'm going to set a deadline for next weekend just in case anyone else wants to send in a candidate. So let's say Nov 10 for a deadline.

No problem. I don't think anyone really expects "perfect" matches all the time. Sometimes it can even be more fun to have personalities that don't exactly go together. It causes the character to grow.

Raaargh! I'm a dope.You know what I just realized? Ikris was supposed to have a story to go along with his stats, but I forgot to add it to his page. I went looking for it today and realized I neglected to save it at all. Gone now, and I spent the better part of an afternoon on it, too. >.< So, it looks like Ikris is a stats-only candidate after all, but he wasn't supposed to be that way. Sorry about that.

That's no fun, Kitsuneko. It's okay though. I'm sure I can match him up. If you want to make any comments about him that I should know, I'll definitely take those into consideration.

It was actually rather dark and depressing. XD I think I'll just retcon anything that was involved in the lost section and go on with the hatching from how he's depicted on his stats; assume he was searched offscreen as per normal. And totally doesn't have anyone die or anything, either. >.>

Oh, wow. Umm, nevermind, found Ikris's story. I can be really dumb sometimes. XP Turns out I hadn't saved the page, but I still had the window open on my laptop. So...I guess ignore my last comment, and the page is already updated with his story.

I'll be trying to get something sent in addition to my existing bunch. Since those all will be part of Dragonhope, any extras I contribute at this point are going over to Albion, I've enjoyed fleshing out their ranks.

I have two candidates that will eventually need a place to go: Salinta and Sebenik (children of two of my riders...god...my babies are having babies...so-to-speak...*facepalm*) Anyway...Eventually I would like to send them to a clutch as Stardust seems to have died *pokes Cy*. Clutch was actually one of my own dragons but...yeah. Just a heads up...Only asking for greens and blues now...*tries to shove all her bronze riders into a closet so she can't see them* I could kill a few off actually...but I hate doing that *pouts*

ROFL. Well, if I ever get Falas back up and running, I can save them for Wingleader positions...Right now, one of them is looking like he'll be a Weyrling Trainer but being he's one of my Falas babies (son of two of my deceased riders), I don't want him there but...*Pokes excel sheet* I need more riders but don't have enough time to write stories/page them. That, and I need a new backend set up for Falas (all my sites) to make my life easier.

Thanks guys. Shard, I've added your boy to the Sands. Yakima, your candidates are always welcome at Aneris. Hopefully, this clutch won't give me any further problems and things will go off without a hitch on Saturday. So that's one week until the deadline.

Question: Should I start taking NPCs for clutches? I don't have Kitsuneko's nifty generator for that kind of thing, but is it something you all would be interested in?

Oh definitely I would. Remember I've got plenty of different candidate generators out there. (what I used for Queslan, and the others I've been sending out to Sedona, in fact.)

Okay, so we'll start taking NPCs as soon as I can figure out how I want to run them. It will probably wait until the next hatching. LOL. I'm having a difficult time as it is with this one. I'm about 3 seconds from just separating candidates into possible dragon lists and chucking them all into random.org to see what comes out. Such as if I took imaginary candidate 1, a boy, who could work with three dragons... I'd take him and everyone else who works for each dragon and into random.org they'd go. Hatchings are supposed to be random right or at least semi-random? LOL

Okay everyone, the hatching will be tomorrow evening. I think I have it all sorted out. If you want to get another candidate in, please do so quickly so I can re-arrange as necessary. I'm so happy with the participation the weyr has seen so far. Also, Shard, Murath is up next for her flight, so if you could email me with the flight winner, I'd appreciate it.

Congrats on the gold, Shard! Wait...do we still congratulate each other on such things? I mean most of us are rather old hats at this and have whole weyrs full of dragons, right? LOL. In any case, congrats! I think Rhiannon did a good job matching up the personalities despite the fact that she had a rough time with it.

I'm glad you're happy. Torrey just seemed the right one for the dragon, so that's how it went. I really did try hard to make sure they matched at least somewhat.
