LSI Alskyrian Giveaway Proposal

*plops lawnchair out again* Okay, so, as I plop potential risers up on the NEW LSI site *beams...it's soooo purrty but I'm holding back with releasing it till I have everyone paged...urg...*cries*)...anyway, I have decided that only Alskyrian dragons can participate here because even if I get a dragon/gryphon from Panyia (did I even spell that right...hmmm...Paniya?) who was caught by a Setian or Volucrian dragon, there are enough differances where I would have to draw a different template(s) for that clutch. I want to avoid that. Same with the gryphons, who have so many differances it's...urg...to someone who has no time to draw. XD

So, if I gave out some "wild" gryphons and dragons (meaning no lineages) would you guys want them so that you can send them for flights? I'll still accept the other islands species but I think the point is to get this islands species, correct? I know that there are few, if not any, LSI bred dragons/gryohons/sea dragons (the deep sea ones don't count...they were a one time deal. XD) out there to help me out...so...

Yes, I know this is probably going to be a "Yakima, you don't do this and my entire dragon population will flame you" type of deal but, hey, I still want to ask.

I'd be happy to take in several Alskyrans, especially gryphons and sea dragons. Can't get enough of the different species.

Would these be wild as in unbonded? or you-can-give-them-a-bond-if-you-like types? or bonded to each other... etc?

I might be tempted to take on one or two of the dragons, although, someone would have to let them live somewhere... cause... Vir' is staying pernese, but I am trying to resist having to make somewhere else just yet... (Delyar? could they 'crash' at one of your places perhaps?)

If you want them to bond, they can bond. XD They can bond dragon-dragon, too. It's been done before. I just usally dont. *shrug*

I'll have to finish my sea dragon template first, Delyar. XD It's still just a pencil sketch...I wonder where I even put it...*checkes scanner* nope..that's the Falas weyrling. Urg...I'll find it...XD

You could always bond a Pernese dragon to an Alskyrian dragon, maybe using the classic "rider died, dragon just couldn't suicide" reasoning that most of us have used for dragon-dragon bonds or general abandoned dragons. It's just exotic enough to turn heads while being justifiable to keep in the Weyr.

Either that, or maybe the little Alskyrian hatchling was just that stubborn, insisting on bonding an existing character and his/her Pernese bond. =)

Both of which are too untraditional for what I want at Vir'.

I'm happy to have them IC live someone else, I can easily stick up a little list of non-Vir' residents if I want to... but for Vir' stories sake I don't want them there.

That's why I sent my Alskyrian Fleet back to Lantir-setia. They won't be there when Falas reopens. But they will be at LSI when that reopens. XD

Don't worry, Tiiyn. I do the same thing. XD It's why I have Treval...originally. XD

A resounding "yes please" to the alskyr handouts. I think the entire concept behind alskyr is brilliant. A pity it doesn't seem to be as active anymore.
