Been pondering this one for a while, since it's technically just a mineral rather than a semi-precious stone. Would you consider peacock ore a gemstone for purposes of your giveaway, or should I stick with actual precious/semi-precious stones?
Peacock ore is fine by me. I've seen it used in jewelry and the like before, so I don't really see why it has to be ignored just because of a pesky issue like "mineral". If you want to be technical, gemstones are just minerals too =P (I actually have a rather beautiful example of a violet stone that I used as inspiration for the eye-color of a family of characters waaaaaay back in the day)
EDIT: Oh, right, just tossing a note out there -- some idiot last saturday touched my machine (stupid me, not telling it to ask for password on coming out of screensaver mode) and managed to crash photoshop somehow. So, this will take a bit longer for me to get out that I had thought, because I need to redo the frill, recreate the base-color, and then start over on the segmentation of the colors. Blerg.

Ouch, and sorry to hear about your computer. And people don't understand why I go crazy when someone touches mine without my permission. Had way too many "random" crashes throughout the years, I'm paranoid.
