E-mails stupid: Akyth's owner and Araven/B'haen's creator

Post by Yakima »

One, Akyth's owner: what size is Akyth? She's a twin so I'm wondering. :P I don't think I gave out sizes back then...

Two: the owner of Araven and B'haen, who ride in the Falas Wings, have broken URLs. I am going to delete them from the wings unless I get a reply back with working ones. :P I also wouldn't mind if Araven's queen rose to mate.

I'm also deleteing Ahinaya and her sunset gold from the wings as there is still no image and I cannot find the Weyr she is said to come from. As I would like queens at Falas that will rise and mate every now and then *pets Akyth* :P, I am deleting these two. Any objections...speak now. :P

That's it for now...now to organize wings and wish I had more dragons...I have WAY to many bronzes...I have like...15 bronzes. Which would be fine if I had 15 wings but...uh...yeah...opps...Maybe I should kill some off? Er....bad idea. That's just to mean.

So, a handful of browns, and lots of blues and greens for Yakima! And no more pesky small sized dragons. I have more of them then bronzes! Like 25 of them! All 'cause I realized that my Talor Cliff riders would have small dragons because they hatched in the Third Pass. Heh...Philippe, J'par, and N'vin have the biggest dragons in the wing! Weee! (soon to be joined by two little golds, too....)

Yeah, expect some changes in my Wing listing format, too. :P

*puts ducktape over mouth so shut herself up* :D

I'd always been under the impression that more than one bronze rider could show up in a wing -- the most senior or most ambitious one would simply take Wingleader status while the second would take Wingsecond (unless the Wing's Brownrider(s) happened to be better at it!)

Blues and Greens are underestimated. XD

Yeah...I know. I have two blue riders as Wingseconds...or will. I usually look at the character, not the dragon's color/size but I have a few traditionalists at Falas that want, at least, their wings to be 'normal'. K'man's isn't, though K'yis, who will be a Wingleader, will have a 'traditional' wing if you look at the 3rd Pass equivalent of their sizes. I know I have a few bronzeriders...A'bion being one, that isn't ambitious enough to be a wingleader. If he does, it will be a while after J'ren and K'man convince him of thus. heh...And I like my greens. They are more maneuverable then the bigger dragons, which is why it makes sense to have more of them in a wing, rather then bigger dragons. :P

I have a 'system' to work out for the wings but it's a flexible template, like all things. :D

I just like organizing things, I've noticed. Which is why those Weyr records occupy so much of my attention. :P

Dragonhope's got the whole range, bronze leader/second and third, bronze leader with brown seconds, a green second, bunches of stuff. It depends on how the characters would react I think, and how big and useful their dragons are.

*nods at Shard* Yep...same here. J'par I had actually thought to have him as a bronze rider but Tiala gave him a blue...probably because he had two bronze firelizards... >.< or something. *shrug* But that worked out. A bronze dragon would be too big for little Flynnth, I think. The blue worked out fine. But he's a good person for a Wingsecond. And Philippe will have all the stuff K'man wants from a Wingleader - J'ren and he just know that there is now way of convincing a guy who's use to running around Searching everywhere to take the responsibility of being a Wingleader. They settle(d) for the Second thing...Philippe's gonna hate it but the Amarion side will be relieved for it...later. *smirk*

*pats Dray* he did, and he's still dead, as far as any stories at Falas are concerned at the moment.

http://www.wolf-mage.com/philippestory.htm

I have some editing to do, minor plot wise, but this might clear things up. This hasn't happened yet, not until I hatch Nysheth's clutch. And if you don't want to know, don't read it.

Philippe/Amarion is a necromancer and there is a lot of things that happened before the elves of Sentra were overthrown by the Northern govermnent (human government...there is more to that, too...). Philippe and his father made a pact with some the spirit/magical people gaurding Astrael: Turold was told he would lose his son and Amarion was told he would have to take on a quest ordained by the gods. Turold wanted a son so bad at the time (his wife was barren...), that he agreed and Amarion was born. He always thought Ril would be the one to be taken. Amarion agreed to his to save his brother's life. So, when Philippe/Amarion dies at Falas, the gods send him back to finish what he had to do. Cheesy, I know, but it was a fun story to write. Tabyen, who I brought in in the AEC II clutch, who Impressed the night rust, is not what he seems, as is told in Yenna's search stories. Yenna is an old, childhood friend of Amarion who is also connected to the royal family distantly, by blood.

It's complicated but most of the story is hashed out and finalized, just have to change the part of him coming back (I thought of a more realistic version...one where I'm not being such a stinking green-rider-pansy :P I love my greens, don't get me wrong...and Philippe's isn't so freakin' weak...He's got a crap load of magic that would kick in right away...heh). And the whole thing with Tabyen and Yenna and what they know and what they would know what to do. yeah, it'll change but you get the basic idea of what's going to happen at Falas. Yenna's dragon is in there, as a gold, 'cause that's what I would like her to get but I'll change it if she Impresses otherwise. :D

Okay, brown maybe? I don't want her to be too small. Brown is middle. Or she could be a small bronze. Twins...never sure how I should size them, truthfully. *chuckles*

Yeah, I had the 1 and 2 mixed up in the e-mail on the queen's page (I keep them in the text, not so people can click on it. :P) XD

Brown size will work. <3 Sei is pretty damn big so anything too small would be awkward... lol. XD!

Y'know.. I always put him around 38 feet mentally... but the best person to ask would be Xalia. XDDD! He's from Tripaldi originally and I forget what size conventions she used.
