Because I am, curse it all. Since it was my birthday on the 25th.
It was an okay day all around. Got some neat swag from friends (a Gallente T-Shirt from EVE Online game, a $20 gift certificate to a toy shop that sells massive dragon plushies.. things like that), got a call from my father that lasted for an hour or more (I think he's lonely.. and wanted someone to gripe to about his work. He's perched on the railing ready to jump ship as soon as he gets a line on another job.. D181 is sinking FAST.), got told that books were in the mail from mom, and that dad was going to send the AT&T card that he got as a "Hey, you can replace a phone now!" to me so that I can replace the 2 year old thing I have right now with something that I like/choose myself.
And then Joe cooked me curry for dinner and bought tiramisu for dessert. It was yummy.
And I got promised a rove in EVE tomorrow, to see if I can get my happy little pirate-kitten paws into some trouble. You know, blow things up, grief people, that sort of thing that pirates do all the time.
And I'm probably going shopping on Saturday by myself, to the toy store then to the bookstore to spend far too much money in books I'll devour instead of doing homework like a good girl. Such is life =P

It's called My Favorite Toys. They have this display of puppets above the counter, many of them mythical critters and such. I bought one that stands about three and a half feet tall and is about four feet around. My friend bought a water dragon that's about 5 and a half feet long.
