Seems like people started using the chat room once it began to get twitchy! I used to lurk there a lot, but since nobody was showing up, I kind of stopped using it. X3 My bad!

StarFyre and I are lurking in the chat as we consider what sort of world/adoption agency we'd actually like to run.

I'm working the DA group so that you may join with a single character from a single world, based upon a playable species. You then write and draw for your character through events that world owners host -- bondings are available so long as world owners host them. Players can create (or 'unlock', I suppose XD) new characters (and more chances to bond) by basically using their first character and writing for 'em a bunch.

As world owners, anyone who chooses to take up that mantle is responsible for hosting one or two events per month, in addition to writing up info for their world, a playable species, and an adoptable species, as well. Bondings will be more rare, but allow you to spend more time on quality instead of quantity. One you fulfill a certain number of events, you may add another species to your playable or adoptable list. Just to be clear: events don't have to be huge! They can be trivia events held over chat: "What's the name of the third continent on the planet Nyracii?" for example! The first to answer correctly would get a prize that you decide.

If you're interested and would like to hash things out, or if you think that things should be changed, or whatever, do join the chat! I'd love some feedback on ways to help launch the DA group and draw your interest back to the Nexus, even if it's just checking back once every couple of days! And... the DA group needs a few world-owners to properly open its doors, so you guys make perfect sense to call on first for that.
