So here's the deal. Website's down, I've got some spare time... I want to DRAW. And I actually plan to continue for quite a while with this project. (Obviously clutches won't start coming out until I can upload images to my site again, as I'm going to probably have a page for it much like the BWR does.)

And yes. I admit I am totally copying everybody else. xP I'm sorry, but I have this complete urge to draw something and colour up some wacky dragon-babies.

Participant Requirements

What I'm looking for is pretty open-ended. I'd like dragons who, due to heritage/genetics/whatever you want to call it, have the ability to produce LOTS of colours in offspring. Not necessarily rainbow gradients; however, those too will be taken into consideration. You all know I'm a sucker for rainbows. ^^ Think Chaos of Colour. That's kinda what inspired me, as I was looking through my files of those dragons I got from it today.

What I /do/ ask is that you try and keep the fur and possibly feathers (though I'm a bit better with those) to a minimum on the ones you do send. Fur kills me. I'm allergic to it in real life and it's really no better when I'm trying to do it on the computer. XD Point is, I'm not looking for particularily 'overdressed' dragons, if you will. I seek more of a "colour explosion" in the offspring. ^^

Put in as many as you like, but it's likely I'll only pick one, MAYBE two, for now. I dunno if this'll be a generational thing, or a "mash a bunch of random pairings together and run the clutches one by one" thing. And if you don't know what to send, you can send 'em anyway. Worst case scenario, I don't pick them. ^^

Hehe. Because I am a geek and wanted to see those old Moire colours, I dipped into archive.org and found Felinruad's "official" colour...

Tawny-orange flame-stripe-sparred tawny-orange mottled leopard dark red

...Needless to say, I shortened it to "tawny-orange-red marked". xD

Also, there's a list going up on the first post of the current participants, whom I will "audition" later on once I feel there are enough. ^^

Also, something I forgot to mention: those who participate will get to look at the images of those dragons parented by their dragons prior to their giveaway release and select a favourite to keep. And these will be giveaway-style clutches for those who were wondering, but I will probably eventually set paging deadlines for them. =)

Is anyone else planning to send in some participants for this?

I might actually decide to keep it open over time so you guys can keep sending in dragons even after the clutches start to go out, but I'd like to know who else (if any) would be interested in signing up some of their dragons. ^.^
