Anyone want to donate some parents?

Heya,

I have a dragon character -- blue with brown and gold tortoiseshell -- who needs parents, since I hate having dragons with no pedigree.

I was thinking SCD Mutt + something...I'd need someone who would have clutched at or resides at SCD.

Anyone have anyone they're willing to let me borrow?

The only SCD mutt i have is white and red. -thinks-

I do have a pair of SCD mutt offspring. ._. they're SCD/idunno.

They're from a recent clutch though, so i dunno if that dragon you're trying to pedigree has a history or not. if they do, they might be in these guy's liniage already. XP

I have a blue tortoiseshell SCD mutt. :) She's has plenty of unsaid/NPC clutches in the past, so yours could certainly have come from one of them.

Thanks Nessie, but those babies are too young. :/ This is a dragon who's well into adulthood, has lost one bond, and has bonded again, and then severed from that one. (Most of events in this *cough* slighly *cough* behind story happened shortly after the SCd xeno mini-frenzy.)
I wonder how far we can stretch Starburst's timeline back so I could use Vanireth. XD He'd work really well, except that he was born after that clutch. :p

Who anyone happen to have any oooolld male dragons with some gold on them somewhere who'd be willing to have a fling with Cwerty?

Hang a moment.. I gotta dig through the reealllyyy old records that I haven't gotten around to tabling yet, but I have a male gold Lantessama dragon somewhere around here, from like.. the first Lantessama clutch with glows -- at least, I think he was the gold.. I shall check!

He should really have brown as well as gold, if your char is blue-gold-brown. SCD mutts can't show any color but what's in their recent pedigree, so Cwerty can only provide the blue.

Oooh. Good call Phe. Well, if nothing comes up soon with some brown in it, I'll just change the brown to green. Colors not really that important.

Edit: Eh, nope, I don't think I can come up with anything better - I can spot you copper and browns, or copper and blacks -- I seem to have lots of dragons with copper, but very few with gold..

Page: Working on Pern characters, then Anarian characters so sometime around then he'll have a page with his bond, Maakis Khora.

*shrugs* Only brown I can think of.

Mutt-traits also breed out really fast, so if the other parent can contribute a number of colours, it could be feasible that the brown'd show up. (XD The 'breeding out' is one of the reasons that him surviving after having bond-severings is okay, or else I'd have been 'O_o'ing.)
