Note from Asha

Post by Samber »

She asked me to send this on...

"Hi!

Asha here. I refound Dasmalenra Weir so I could email you. Anyway, while I was there, I noticed that you'd sent a candidate to the Aurie at some point. Yes, that candidate is in. I'm planning a new clutch
soonish.

Also, I wanted to say that my parents kinda.....blocked the Nexus from my computer. And won't unblock it. So I'd be grateful if you could let the Nexus-people know about that, because I can't.
Sucks.

Thanks!!

Asha Wermyst / Stormsight"

Well I don't know if you remember the girl who wrote the Marians (the lion-people) that I have a couple of sitting around without their pages any more? Her folks pretty much drove into her that it WAS that evil. :/ It's such a shame too that they apparently didn't recognize her potential as a writer. She had beautiful stories and mythologies that showed me she recognized the value of allegory but loved fantasy as much as any of us. I think this case though may be Asha's parents want homework done or something silly like that. :)

Sure but they'd just ban that site, and nothing of that sort's ever been posted here, really. That's why i kept it as 'legal' as possible.

>.< It really, REALLY burns me up when people see one thing they don't like and take everything else out of context.

"Oh my gawdzors! Dragons are of teh devul! BAN BAN BAN!"

*sigh* Culling the creativity of youth seems to be the norm these days. Don't write! Go watch tv instead!

Hahaha, I remember when I was young my parents used to tell me to stop reading and go watch TV (of course, they were joking and actually encouraged me to read, so it makes for a fond memory, instead of an unpleasant one).

lol thats the true. How often am I on this thing? Too often. Guh.

On another forum I go to on occasion there's a girl whose signature shows her in doll-form sitting on the toilet checking the computer saying "Am I addicted to [name of message board]? Noooo, never."

That's kind of where I'm at right now.

Anyway I also remember the one who was Sherra's friend and had wanted to do the chess clutch, her parents were also uber anti-dragons. Mrawr. Poor Asha.
