Corodos, I'm really sorry about this, I know you've been waiting a long time for me to get my four (five counting my birthday one) uploaded, but I might have a small problem getting my them up by the 11th ;.; I just got a new computer, and when my dad brought over the MS Office cd and installed it, he had a new version compared to what I had on my old machine. The new version either doesn't have Frontpage (the program I use to make web pages), or it got messed up in the upload. So I can't make or edit web pages until I get Frontpage back somehow. I'm hoping I can get that done in the next few days, but I can't make any promises.
I'd understand if you want to take your dragons back. I already got one extention; asking for another seems rude on my part.

Thanks, but I'd really prefer to get Frontpage :: laughs :: If I can't get it, I'll pester you : ) I just need to call my dad and see if he has the old disk, and if so, if he can bring it to me >.> Or see if I can't somehow copy the Frontpage files from my old machine. Or do a reinstall of office, cuz it gave me a folder for Frontpage, it just... doesn't have anything in it >.<

Frontpage is super evil IMHO. If you're not averse to downloading software illegally (or forking over a couple hundred bucks), then you should consider getting dreamweaver. If you are averse to it / can't afford it, then do a google search for Nvu, it's pretty decent and also free. It's not as good as dreamweaver but for open source it's not bad. That's what I use, since I no longer work at Webcom where they had dreamweaver *sniffle* and I don't like to download things illegally when i can avoid it.
As far as I know, a lot of the more recent versions of Office don't include Frontpage with them. I know my (pirated) copy of Office doesn't have it, so I had to get separate install files for Frontpage. If you're okay with the pirated stuff, then we could come to an arrangement for the transfer of my copy of Frontpage. It's about 330meg, which is just about do-able if you have a pretty good connection...
Edit: After compression with WinRAR, the download's just over 200meg, which if you can sustain a download rate of 100kps, can be downloaded in about an hour.

Aw, thanks, Shi, that's sweet of you : D I have DSL, so connection really isn't an issue.
I do have a copy of Frontpage, myself, it's just on my old machine-- is just copying the folder possible? Cuz if so, I can prolly do that myself. Or are you talking that you have Frontpage install files? If you have that, I would love-love-love to get them from you ;.;

I don't think that copying the folder is possible, because an installation of any part of Office tends to be rather... attached to Windows. Seriously, I've destroyed Windows while messing with an Office installation once... Given that information, I'd have said it's unlikely to work by just copying the folder across.
But, the files to which I'm referring are the install files, fully cracked so you don't even need to get a serial key for it. And it's Frontpage 2000, one of the better versions in my opinion. More advanced than Frontpage 98, but less annoying than Frontpage 2003.
I'll go upload the file now and PM you with the details. As a forewarning, you'll need a copy of WinRAR, since a .rar has a better compression than a .zip. That okay, or would you prefer a .zip?

Oh thank you Shiolar ^^ Frontpage 2000 is the one I have on my old computer, and everything XD
I'm at school right now, so I won't be able to dl and install it until I get home (in about, oh, about 9 hours? : P Tis a long day today.... XD ). But later. Yes : D
Thanks so much, Shi ^^ :: hugs on ::
I... don't have WinRAR that I know of o.o Could I have a zip file? ^^'

Will do. Just uploading the .zip now.
It's about 10meg bigger than the .rar... all things considered, not a massive increase. Heh.
And not being able to start for another 9 hours is fine. I was gonna ask you to wait at least five hours anyway, since these big downloads are a bit of a strain on my connection, so I like to arrange them for times when it's not doing very much.

Now that all of THAT is sorted out, take what time you need Caco. Not everyone has so little of a life that they completely code the pages by hand like me.

Making sites pretty = fun. Assuming I know everything in the world to know about scripting because I happen to be a CS major and know C++ ... not so much.
My boss wants me to make an HTML form for him which in itself is easy, but then he wants me to make it so it stops working after 10 people sign up, but only on the basis of the individual demo and time slot, and I don't know hoooow *frustrated*
At my old job I was an assistant web programmer and that was all right because I was learning and could ask my boss if I had questions. But then I got laid off because said boss decided he didn't want ant assistant anymore and where I'm at now, I'm THE web programmer and I have no idea what I'm doing and ... yeah.
[/ rant off]

At long last, I have links ;.; They will eventually be fleshed out more... once I figure out what in the world to do with them.... >.>

it's okay. I'm only frowning at the images. Hmm... seems they didn't transfer well... What format do you have them saved as?
<a href="http://www.geocities.com/remusprame/ind ... anner4.jpg[/img]</a>
It's probably because of photobucket--under the 'Upload It' button, there's a max image size cap that you can change--I know that these images are originally quite large (pixels-wise, anyways) so if you change it to '1 meg' in the right hand column that pops up, that works pretty well. XD I credit Shiolar for pointing that out.

Interesting. I have them all in gif, yes, but I never saw that little overflow of color before... Hmmm. *ponder*
