Mmmkay. Given that I ... have essentially dropped off the face of dragoning and will not be able to really return (RL being loopy, with the work, the school, and possibly moving to New Mexico in a matter of months), I am going to offer the following to those whom I have adopted dragons from.

This is limited only to the agencies/people these dragons are from!

This will also include any dragons which haven't already been reclaimed by those agencies because I failed to update dragons on time, and so forth.

Basically ... if there's a dragon that you'd like to have back, you may take him/her/it as well as the story and character associated with them. This may be problematic for groups which have adopted from different agencies. I apologize for that.

You will be responsible for getting the necessary information from the site (and I really can't remember where all of them are, so there will be some digging involved on your end) but ... after that, they will be your characters to use as desired. This does include Kin and Gin, so ... Shard, you're a lucky bugger if you want to claim those two. ;p

Subject line must include "Re-Adopting <blah>"

The email must list which characters and dragons are being returned to their agency of origin (and the agency to which they're being returned, for that matter). This is more a matter of curiousity, as I won't be tracking any of this. I will keep this open for approximately 3 months and then will systematically go through and purge my websites of everything else. I may keep backups ... I may not.

I wanted to think of a way that was relatively humane, without needing to add a slew of bondless dragons out there ... and this was all I could think of.

I know. :/ It's been really difficult to get things organized as is ... so ... yeah. x.x;

If I do return, it will be with a fresh slate. While I think I'll still offer Geperna (and upgrade to actually have the Mythicalan pure breeds, and even a few new lines of beastlings ... hehehehe), I won't be adopting in the future to spare myself the headache of organizing and all that. That's where the burnout happened, just being unable to keep up with updates and stuff. :/ I would like to do the Wyld whirls again ... but again, I'm not trying to get my hopes up on miraculously finding time to do stuff.

Things might be easier now, since I won't be doing the game art courses (doing programming now, w00t!), so... we'll see. As for the move, well. I'll be driving down there, so it'd better damn well go smoothly. XD If not, I'll cry and it'll suck. That'll be around December, though ...

DNS: I've posted to the ideas thread with regard to the Geperna and Mythicalan breeds. If there's confusion on which is which, please let me know and I'll try to clarify.

My boyfriend was supposed to move to New Mexico but a bunch of unbelievable b*llsh*t prevented him from doing so ... I hope that you have better luck there than he did.

And are you in computer science? So am I! Though I'm not particularly good at it yet, unfortunately :-/ I'm getting better, though ^_^

Anyway it's good that you're back even if it's only for a little while. And I'm pretty sure you don't have anything from me, otherwise I'd steal it back

Well, I hope you do return at some point. Even if it is just to lurk. :3 Your babies are getting a lot more play time in the genetic pool lately.

A few questions before you take off though. First off, is there any possible way for me to claim StarShaker? I'd like to do more with the story I started of him and Fire In Her Throat.

Also, do you still want your sponsor places for Kin and Gin in the V Dance? I can't recall but I think you also had some candidates in there.

Geperna have used the same template I started for them all those ages ago, so they're a dead giveaway. Most of the others shouldn't be too terribly hard to pick out, either ...

The Mythicalan, if I get to them, will be distinct for their growth pattern/evolution, and the fact that they'll look ... well, rather unique. I'm reworking their lines and other information, so ... really, the one that's out there now is gonna be one-of-a-kind. ;p

I just went through my files, and found you had 13 of my EverRealm critters.

However--that's ALL I know. I don't know name, gender, who they may be bonded to/sponsered by (though considering what they are, none that I see would need a bond at all, they're all giveaway) just the species and that they were yours, so I wouldn't know who to ask for.

Hmm. Mystic: If it's cleared with Tygryph, then, yes, you can have StarShaker. I *believe* he bonded to one of his kidlets at Ryslen, so ... yeah. If Tygryph's okay with the switcheroo, then Star's yours.

Myrror, you can just reclaim the critters, then. I don't think I even got them up ... and if I did, they were bondless, as were pretty much all of my gifted ones.

Hey, should we archive the whirls and stuff? I noticed you said that you might not keep backups, and I always thought that they were SO awesome, and I wanted to help out with those however possible! Is there any way to make sure that those eventually go out at some point? Like, can we help you by drawing some templates? I still have an old list of Wyld abilities (it's not the update list with all of the sub-categories, it's only about a page and a half long) and some of us could pitch in together to get the templates drawn and coloured and stuff. @_@ I really don't wanna see that disappear!

As for taking dragons back... ;.;''' This makes me sad, but I'll email you once I find 'mine'. *sniffs* Gonna miss you. Hope your life is on the positive side of the equation.

Nnnnng ... well. I may do a raw restart of the current Whirls, to start. All the dragons from the previous Whirls will be presumed wild and probably won't show up again (unless I find my records, in which case ... game on!).

Actually, I'll start that in a thread of its own. I don't mind organizing and assigning abilities and all that, I just don't have so much of the arting and other time as I used to. :/ Still wanna do the original 'real' Wylds, though ... and probably, that's all I'll be able to do.

...

Matter of fact, I've got just the storyness to do the restart with ... I love my fickle muses sometimes. ;3 *hehehe*

I think there are a number of draks and the like which I'd been wondering about, and gryphons? Did you participate in the gryphon eggfest? I'll manage to get my head into my records room for that.

And heh - Kin and Gin. I have an idea. Because a lot of other people have sponsorships out with those two, don't they? Mmaaaaaybe ... Kin and Gin should become a sort of Nexus Greeting Pair? Like those mascots that we keep tossing ideas around for? Just a thought, because I know I'm not the only one who'd had dragons adopted and/or sponsored by them (or potentially had).

Heck, I don't even know what other sponsorships I put those two up for. ;p Feel free to use (and, yes, even /abuse/) Kin and Gin for mascot-y purposes. It's what they were designed for on Shivran Aerd's side ... but expanding that to the Nexus as a whole would be a really neat idea if y'all wanted to do that.

'sides which, if I return, I'd have to scrap the lot of them anyway. e.e

...is it sad that I'm already plotting a return, even though I know better?

Just a quickie update: I did find my old records.

I will probably keep the dragons in Sanctuary (because dividing them will be a more fickle beast than I imagined, unless they're unbonded.), and the Ojee (because ... well, I like 'em) but ... the offer still stands for y'all to take other pairs back. If any aren't taken, I'll keep them, but they'll be pulled offline so I can finagle a different arrangement. e.e This being against my better judgement, but I will not be adopting any more from this point on.

Drop me a PM or post here and I'll reply as soon as possible with requisite linkage, if I can find it. Some of my old envy.nu sites are probably long gone to the void, but I do have backups of most (if not all) of them.

Kin and Gin and their bonds and sponsorlings will still be available for use as Nexian mascots. c.c Just let me know who gets 'em and I'll see about filling in any additional details as needed.

Awweeeeeehh... We've all missed you for so long. One of the things that keeps me coming back is the hope that the Whirls will go on... someday. XD No stress. That's really the key to keeping yourself going. I've kept all the Waves up to present, I believe. I just love the storyline too much. ^.^; I'm sure I'm not the only one who's done similar, if you need help with any archives, want to get back into the swing of things - even starting over pretty much, we'll be here to help you out as much as possible. Since the time I colored a couple dragons for you, I've improved, so I would be more than happy to help. Hell, I'll draw a few templates. Anything for Drakiera. :3

Good luck moving! I hope everything works out and that life slows down to a more comfortable pace for you.

I'd love to take any dragons you have need of homes for. I remember that there were lists of ...Wylds I think? that needed them, so if there are any in danger of disappearing, I'd like to know.

Drakiera, Phoenix and I are going to take and move the dragons (and their characters?) that you've recieved from SCD and the fur&feathers frenzy to our Ranch of Doom, which is our collective dragon-gathering area. :) We even have plans to set up your vampire/xenodragons in a nice, hive-like area, if you'll allow us.

I'm not sure that any of your dragons were from your Sanctuary listing, but if they are, please let us know so that we don't accidentally take 'em back!

Also, if you have any extra Wylds that need a home, I'm with Neishai in that I can take a couple off of your hands. XD

Linking won't be necessary; all the old pages are working, since I was looking through my records, and I should be able to get any info or images I need off those pages. I may well use them to sponsor or double-bond later on, don't really know. I'll leave the sponsored dragons to you, but I'd be happy to take them if you do end up changing your mind.
Also...I do still have Kiceral's images from Ricensyal's clutch, if you need them, as I'm not sure if he was ever put up...
