coloring eyes
well i was just wondering how to make them look like eyes so they are all shiney and eye like looking like on the corgi dragons. can anyone help?
Well, Phe would be the supreme grand master of doing nice shiny gorgeous eyes, buuuut...
I use a second layer to add white highlights to the eye, usually a white circle or oval in one of the top corners of the pupil, and a smaller one on the opposite lower corner. Then I add some light and dark colours to the iris to give them a more 3 dimensional effect; a lighter colour on the lower half and then a darker colour above. And sometimes lighter in the middle, surrounding the pupil and darker around the edges...

Like Shi' said: (and it works for just about anything that you want to look shiny!)
1) Determine your light source.
2) Use a darker colour facing /towards/ the light source, in the eye.
3) Use a lighter colour on the opposite side from the light source.
4) Put a white spot on top of the darker colour.
Voila, shiny-eye!
