This is like the 4th time I've had to reformat this stupid thing, I have no clue what's causing the problems. >_< And it's still randomly lagging, with a largely clean harddrive. *grumble*
My advice? NEVER get a tablet PC!
I HATE my computer.

Still gaming? Take a look at Atonement RPI.
What kind of peripherals are you running? The mouse and pen (if you've got one) might be interfering with each other... I've had that problem when I've had my tablet installed in a regular pc.
What's the lag - where and when is it hitting? Are you opening graphics/graphic programs? Are you plugged into the net on it? Are you running Norton utilities? (which sucks by the way, I don't bother with it any more) And what operating system?
Not that I have a tremendous clue what I'm talking about but it might be something as simple as a loose screw, or drivers needing to be updated (or DOWN graded, sometimes older drivers work better!)

I never use the pen, it stays in its slot next to the screen. The lag appears to be random, and I can press the power button to SOMETIMES get it to come out of the state and shut down... And I've debated letting a laptop shop look at it, they claim to do so for free.
