Urgh, I'm sorry for spamming the gen forums with help questions. But yes.
PSP7 is giving me trouble. Erm, is there some way I can select a single colour or something in order to cut and paste it into a new window or layer or something to that end? I need it basically for lineart. ._______o I can't do anything with some lineart i've got unless i do that, and i only have like. two more days to work on it, urgh. X.x
Also, How do i shrink selections? On photoshop, when you get the selection marquee, you get these little squares in the corner that let you shrink what you've selected, but i can't find those on psp.
and how do I paste something AS a new layer? All I've gotten so far are the options to paste as a floating selection.
X.x and watch, i'll have more trouble when i get to the actual colouring.

I wish I could help, but I've never even touched the program! D8
The best that I can do for you is call up a link of tutorials to browse through:

Mmmmmmm... crap. It's been too long since I've used psp7.
In 8 you can just use the wand tool to select what you're gonna want, use the SHIFT key to continue selecting other things and use the TOLERANCE percent to get more or less of a color or area.
To shrink there is a 'deform tool', though again I can't recall if psp 7 has that in the same space as 8....

See, this is why I just use gradients and shade by airbrush... I can't use layers, maybe because I learned how on PSP - or I should say, I learned how NOT.
