Risers & Chasers - 2 for 1 Special!!!

Post by caesiusdraco »

Heya,

So, here's the deal. You send me a riser or chaser to any of my locations, and I'll send two risers, or chasers, or a combination thereof to any location you choose (yours or otherwise). You can send as many of either to me as you want, and get the 2-for-1 on all of 'em.

Deal? Good. Yes, I am that desperate.

So, who do I have that need chasers? Lots of ladies...

Gold Oleath - Serpent's Reach
http://www.draconigena.net/serpents_rea ... ights.html
http://www.draconigena.net/serpents_reach/kyra/
Needs: 3 chasers - this is a Caerlordship flight. If you're not interested, but still want the experience, let me know in the form. Large dragons, please.

Bronze Serisath - Serpent's Reach
http://www.draconigena.net/serpents_rea ... ights.html
http://geocities.com/mort_espoir/tygressa.htm
Needs: 3 chasers

Black Tanzeryss - Innascor Colubra Cove
http://www.draconigena.net/serpents_rea ... ights.html
http://www.dansmc.com/Pern/Vrana_st.htm
Needs: 2 fighters - sea dragons.

Gold Romarneth - Coeptus Weir
http://www.draconigena.net/coeptus/
http://www.geocities.com/kendarath_dark ... ae/Winter/
Needs: 3 large chasers, brown or bronze preferred

All of my locations could use risers.

So, that's it. You can post chasers/risers here or use the forms. Just be sure to read the rules.

Remember to post where you want the 2 risers/chasers sent!!

Take care,
Nicole

:/ wish i could help you out, but I'm new so I haven't got any dragons yet. >.> Unless you want a wingless one, but i dunno how he'd be any help.

I could put him in like, a canon or something. FLY DRAGON FLY. just find a way to bypass that whole gravity thing.
...ahem.

So you know, I have the Alabaster/Blackstone dragon-and-rider giveaway which is still open (perpetually). If you want to specify 'alskyran colors' or 'only riders born on alskyr' for the Caer and Cove flights I could certainly work up some non-flying Cove dragons to bond in addition to the typically flighted dragons at A/B. http://www.deviant-uprising.com/nexus/v ... .php?t=276 is the thread. Feel free to look em over,

http://www.deviant-uprising.com/nexus/v ... 82&start=0 is the actual giveaway area with the info for the characters coming out of this. The dragons have pedigrees, even though they're giveaways, which is where some folks have sticky points - I think if you got a couple characters worth writing about from that, the fact that it's a giveaway pair wouldn't mean as much. :) And plus it'd flesh out whatever wing list you have going. :D

Oleath's flight:

http://www.geocities.com/gwynllaith_isle/madoc.html
Madoc and silver-gold Felenri might be good for that caerleader flight...

G'zon and Ryslen brown Nowyrth have tried for several leadership flights.
http://www.geocities.com/efellai/gzoninflight.html (sorry about the music, very early page...it will be going away soon, even though it /is/ cool music)

And poor Al'jan and his Ryslen brown Fivrith could certainly do with something lasting....
http://www.geocities.com/efellai/aljaninflight.html

Let me know if you think any of those sound interesting, and I'll write up appropriate stories. :)

For Serisath's flight:

A'leil would be happy to come and make life interesting--Onurnmosoth, Samtairadanth, and Adrakananth would be equally glad to get to chase some females again. Griflath and Feyrilayt can stay home. ;) Or, Feyrilayt can rise again and Griflath will chase her (but not necessarily win).
http://www.ethereal.nu/empyrean/auroch/anraleil.html

For Tanzeryss:

I used to have my original stock of dragons for the two coves at Gwynllaith up, but now I have no idea where I put them...so much shame.

In any case, Zuskiz (www.freewebs.com/tygirisbrood/) and Gozkirith (www.ethereal.nu/empyrean/olympes/linos.html) can be used.

Gold Romarneth-

K'teric and Iryntesalth (http://www.geocities.com/efellai/ktericinflight.html)
Achthia and Cahnath and Vriendinth (www.ethereal.nu/empyrean/auroch/achthia.html) would be happy to assist--well, everyone but Achthia would be happy, that is.

Can I reserve the chasers? I don't have a big need for them right now, as I can't get into the Moire pages to edit them at all, but I did need a few there.

Anytime you need flyers or flights filled, let me know. I am not the best story-writer, as I get distracted or can't edit things, but I am happy to throw dragons your way.

Efellai, I worship the ground you walk on.

I stole everyone, Feyrilayt included. I hope that's okay. If not, just lemme know.

I think I have some dragons from those giveaways that I need to put up. O.O Good reminder.
I'm kinda tired of filling flights with my own dragons, though. It gets tedious after a while. We need more variety in the gene pool with the mass inbreeding anyway. ;)

How do flights work/what happens, exactly? And when that's done, i may have one or two i can enter in anything that's NOT a weyrleadership flight.

Nicole, that's great. If you'd like me to write a story-bit for all not on the ethereal.nu pages, I can do that too. Just let me know. I am working on taking my final and going back to the States, so my mind is leaping everywhere and not being very productive.

One minor correction--Feyrilayt is bonded to Griflath, not to A'leil. *heh* That lot is well on their way to forming a mini-hive-mind I think.... And Gozkirith's color is opal black (I don't think I put it on there, and you don't have it listed).

*chuckles* Variety is good. And yeah, I have a lot of different kinds of dragons, so let me know when you need flyers...I just started checking boards again. I must admit, I miss using Yahoo groups, simply because it was a /reminder/ that dragoning stuff was still going on. I have to check the boards now, and I have periods where I just....forget to do that, I guess. So, let me know by e-mail or PM (anyone can, actually) so that it will show up in my e-mail box, and voila!

Theoretically, I have some females somewhere too, if you need more. Even a female seadragon...yellow Reiss, bonded to purple Gliaoz, if I can find her.

DNS,

Pernese flights=female dragon goes into heat, basically. She snags a food-type critter, sucks the blood out of it (maybe more than one, depending on size) and takes to the skies, usually with an usual lambency to her hide ("glowing"). Male dragons chase her. The flight is usually long and acrobatic. One male, usually, wins, and they fall whilst making dragon love. The lust coming from the dragons often affects riders as well, which makes things interesting.

Other flights work preeeetty much the same way, unless stated otherwise in whatever species description they have (listed on site of those running the agency). On Alskyr, I know the seadragons have dominance-fights, basically, to get to mate with the female.

OOCly, you write a storybit (if you're a good, non-lazy-and-Efellai-like person) stating your male's desire to chase whatever female is flying. It's good to look at the character page of the female/female's rider and work things from that into your story. You send in your male via a form. Three-to-five males usually chase. The owner of the female typically decides who wins. Then your dragon has produced dragonbabies. Yay! Several sites like your male and almost always your female to not rise/fly again until their eggs are off the sands, i.e. hatched.

I think that should cover it....

I knooow the ic bit, it's the ooc bit that I didn't know. >.> I'm new to this, not to pern. but thankeeee for the information, because i DID need that OOC bit. thankee~~

Does anyone have a link to a male's story, too? I can do a roleplay post, but that would be like. Patchy, so a story example would be good. >.> ^^;

Check back up at the chasers I sent--almost all of them have flight-bits from previous stories, and Al'jan's even has the flight of the female he was chasing in it ('cos I wrote it).

*chuckles* Sorry. I haven't been really attentive to the boards (as previously explained) so I didn't know how much you needed to know.
