Planned Haitus or Something

Maybe I'm just going through one of my phases again, who knows, but I plan on running the following then stopping. For how long, I don't know. I am starting to feel like I do a lot of work for nothing (expecially after betweening so many dragons from the FGPC records...I updated it so you can go look...). I also hate having to beg for candidates for anything and since it seems so many other places are getting more attention I'm probably going to leave for a while, get my dragons up and stop doing my own clutches. *shrug* Yeah, a bit depressed.

I'm still going to run/finish:
FGPC: Shimmer Frenzy
FGPC: Rianth's Clutch
FGPC: Alsiuth's Clutch
FGPC: All-Earth Clutch II*
Falas Weyr: Mardanith's Clutch
Treval Dragonry: 2nd Clutch (Tavrayn Mutts)

* Dray sent me a bronze but is there anyone else or should I just use my own dragons for this?

Anyway, that's what I want to finish first. I'll use deadlines as that seemed to work for the Wolf Frenzy but on a last minute type thing which I don't particularily like. If you're working on someone, great!

I probably should have done this a long time ago but I don't like quitting so I've been sticking with it. Latley, I feel like I'm being ignored, pushed aside for 'cooler' things so...*shrug* At least I'll be able to get my riders/dragons up that I've gotten from you peoples!

I'm gonna go over my boys and girls to see who's available.

I'm positive I've got a couple who have yet to breed.

Now if I can figure out who to send as candidates... And I am working on a couple more shimmer...

Not going to stop you or anything but it's a shame it has to come to this. You really are one of the most talented artists here and it's a shame to see you go but I understand why you're doing this and I hope you'll at least lurk around and say hi once in awhile.

Maybe you're trying to run too many clutches/projects at once? That would put a strain on anybody. o.o*

You're not the only person that struggles for Candidates, either. I think just about everyone here, with a few notable exceptions, has to beg for them... So don't think it's anything personal, that you're being deliberately passed over. It's just the way things seem to be right now.

Yeah it's like that in any artist-dominated forum really -- there are always a few really popular people and everyone else gets ignored regardless of how talented they are. Yakima, Shiolar, and other notable people here are some of the the most talented people I know and they still have to beg for candidates. I don't even have an official adoption agency for that reason, though I'm thinking about starting one I'm kind of nervous about it since I don't want to put work into something that will get ignored. Especially since I have nowhere near the talent of a lot of you guys who still don't get candidates. Just you better stay open for at least the shimmer frenzy 'cause i need to collect as many yakima dragons as possible before it's too late.

Oh yeah and feel free to shoot me a pm or find me on aim or msn (the few times i'm on) if you want to talk/vent about stuff/whatever.

Like Phe said, trying to run too much at once can be frazzling... perhaps you ought to focus more on one area and reserve your other agencies for special events that come along when you feel like it?

I can handle having this many going at once though I generally focus on one before starting the others. However, it's a bit depressing that the Shimmer Frenzy has been open for more then a year.

I like to give people stuff. The Treval Generations will probably continue because, well, they're 'easier' for people to get. I also wished people had sent dragons the FGPC at least. Just don't remember if I had in the rules that non-Pernese could participate.

I'm going to lurk and knowing me the haitus won't last for long. I just /hate/ begging because I feel bad when I do. And after going through Falas and FGPC records and betweening as many dragons as I did, that's a bit on the depressing side, too. And I kinda asked for opinions and tips for the Frenzy previews and either they're all perfect, which I doubt, or...something. *shrug* I'm just going to ink them and template them so they're ready when the Frenzy finally hatches. Of course, I know darn well that when June rolls around I will probably find candidates and sponsers flooding my inbox - happened with the Wolf Frenzy...

Deadlines are nice...sometimes...*Segs rolls eyes*
