Active Old World Weyrs?

For reasons quite unknown to me, I have a sudden urge to write Pern-like (maybe not true Pern for the sake of copyright infringement *snerk*) candidates, and so I was wondering who still had old world Weyrs open and if they were excepting candidates. They don't need to be ultra traditional, in fact, non traditional is great, they just need to adopt out something that resembles an old world dragon. Alskyrian Caers are also acceptable. If you want to move this to databases be my guest, but I figured I'd stick it on general first. So, um, yes. If you've got a Weyr, post it here! (hey, that rhymes).

Ironically, I was considering putting one together. Not necessarily traditional in any sense, but I'm undecided on its plotline as of yet. I intend to have it set up to give out dragons by request of candidates, so there'll always be some available....soon as I have a moment to finish a template. ^_~ Just on a side not, really. ^^;;

Yeah I was feeling very bored with Cyrna ... not as a world, necessarily, as it will always remain close to me, just it was never really "meant" for adoption purposes, and I am completely uninspired and at a dead end with the plotline. So all day during recitation while not paying attention to my TA I've been coming up with ideas for a new world, not as creative or in depth as Cyrna unfortunately, but more geared towards adoptions in general. At first I was going to have it just be another Pern want-to-be but then I decided that it could have limited magic and then I was getting into this medieval earth society where a corrupt church controls everything and I'm not sure where it will go but it should be fun. Sort of like a combination of Pern, Cyrna, and medieval earth is what I'm going for thus far. But if you do your old-world-ish agency I will definitely send candidates ^_^ And no I'm not getting rid of Cyrna by any means, I'm just leaving it in the world of my novels for the moment

Wu is relativaly traditonal if you want the normal 5 colors your more then welcome to them.

We're on pern just we also function in the nexus. I'd more then welcome a candidate or two from you(or anyone for that matter if anyone want to write pern)! ^.^;

I think there may even be a regular clutch on the sands too, if there isn't I can always make one.

And don't forget - that the Alabaster/Blackstone giveaways *are still and always will be* open. They're the normal images I used for Alabaster and Blackstone, used like 2-3 times at most, and they come with their own rider and dragon pedigree. Great for fleshing out traditional weyrs ranks. All Alskyran colors used, but you can specify *non* alskyran or no rares, all-rares, etc.

Green, Blue, Purple, Red, Cream, Brown, Slate, Copper, Bronze, Gold, Black, White, Silver are the colors available. Riders can be specified from Alskyr or Pern. Just ask.

Well, Falas is just waiting for the Shimmer Frenzy to end before I let Mardanith's clutch open up. Her clutch is strictly for gold to green colors. No hint of genetic or rare possibilites in her or Ichiroth! And if all else fails, there is the FGPC for the genetically altered rares that have no limit! Currently needing candidates for the Shimmer Frenzy and a handful of different breeds of dragons from Pernese, Alskyrian to cross breeds!
