Illness Prolonged

Yeah, I thought this would be a normal flu but the darn thing is holding on for dear life and I can't shake it. I really don't want to go to the doctor yet because I really don't have the money to do so. Right now I'm only one because I was talking to the bf but I might as well make this offical and say I'm defiently going to be gone longer then I expected. I can bearly make it around the house much less to the bathroom to take a bath/shower. Grr - I feel icky and don't have the energy to do a damn thing about it. GRRRRRR...anyway, i think my point is made. Off to lay in my bed and feel utterly bored and...starving amazingly. Mom should be home with fruit soon, tho...um...kiwi!

Worst part about being sick - I never got to see my horsie (and Zeeny's mom) leave today! *cries and curses her body for doing this*

You've been sick for a month with this, Yakima you NEED to go to the doctor. If it hasn't gotten better in about 12 days from the start, it's not GOING to get better on its own. PLEASE please see a doctor!

I don't wants you being so sick you can't enjoy yourself!!

At the very least go to Yahoo Health or some other website and look up your symptoms, that'll tell you if you need to go to the doctor right away. Most non-prescription flu medicine also says that if symptoms remain for more than 48 hours you should see a doctor. I agree with Shard here, go to the doctor! Or at least call your doctor and tell a nurse your symptoms! The nurse can advise you as to what you should do, whether you need to see a doctor, etc.

Geez, Shard. I've only had this for a week! That was something else! If it persists with no clue of getting better, yes, I'll go to a stupid doctor but I'm not walking around with money to pop in there. Just to walk into the office is about $100. If I wasn't so stretched with money and bills as it was I would probably go earlier but I'm not blessed with that kind of thing. Nor is getting Medical help easy because Social Service is downright picky and evil. So will you reliax? I've only had this for a week - last sunday to be percise.

Okay, I was under the impression that it was much longer or connected to a prior problem.

Well, I'm better now - I think. At least I can walk around without my stomach trying to jump out of my stomach. I feel very weak, however from the inability to eat a lot (and, I swear I look like a toothpick...grrrrrrrrrrr). But I'm hoping this isn't a trick my body is playing on me. 1 1/2 weeks of being unable to do anything but lie around or crawl around work so that I can at least get /some/ money is extreamly annoying. Too bad I didn't have anouther day to lay around and make sure this is gone before going back to work and just thinking about eating anything there is enough to make me feel sick again. And because I started washing my uniform late I will not have time to grab a deli sandwich from the gas station. *sigh* Ok, enough ranting. *slinks off slowly so she dosn't fall down*

Ugh, sounds nasty. Don't topple over from hunger--I hope you can get some food into yourself sometime soon. Soups and broths might be a good start?

lol...thanks feather. I bought a pizza at the gas station this morning (one of those hot thingys so don't panic, it wasn't raw!

) and have been nibbling on that all day. Dur...at least I was able to move about better. Though, I probably would have felt a lot better if mcdonalds didn't have this thick grease stuff in the air and my manager, as nice as he was about the fact I still would have to sit and rest every now and then, put me in grill assembling and looking at all that greasy food defiently was not plesent. *hugs her pizza* Yeah, probably not the best choice in food (I forgot an orange today...grrr), but I can get it down!
