Ok....So, not exactly back now....

The powers that be officially hate and despise me.

My apologies out to all.

I recently burned out part of the video card in my laptop, which can be fixed, but isn't yet.

Then, last night, my main computer decided to have itself a fatal systems crash.

I lost approximately 250GB worth of data that I hadn't had a chance to back up and copy. Luckily, none of it was Nexus stuff.

I am writing this post from work because the necessary reformat rendered it internet-incapable, due to lacking ethernet drivers and the capacity to go and download them.

So, right now, neither of my computers are functional enough to do anything at all with any sort of artwork.

If I get the drivers, I can reinstall all my programs, once I find the CDs. If you see me tonight past work time, then I at least fixed the internet. But for awhile, at home at least, I'm dead in the water.

Yay for fast updates. <_< >_>

I admit, I actually physically dragged my desktop tower to work, hooked it up with spare cables, and through much shuffling of cords, drives, and the like, managed to reinstall the ethernet drivers.

It is now going to sit here for probably like....three or more hours doing windows updates, and when I get home, I get to try and find all my other hardware drivers.... Oh boy. <_<;;;

Whoo, at least you got to fix it at work, and didn't have to bring it in and pay money for that bit of it! :D

Yeah. Bonus that I'm fixing it myself. I've remembered about all the anime I lost in the crash (that was really all I lost.....lots of it, but that's it) so I can start redownloading it later.... I'm just going to be very very frustrated if I can't find my Paint Shop (and other stuff) CDs.....I salvaged my plug-in filters but I think some of my settings for them are gone now. Le sigh. x_x

Having computers at work is a godsend to me, it's how I learned that my monitor was baked, and not my video card.

Well... If you're stuck without an art program and you desperately need one, some of us still have the zipped PSP7 file that Kim gave out a few years back.
