Mozer stepped excitedly through the portal into the Reality known as Hawkings Crest. The Elder Naa followed calmly, emanating gentle amusement at the eagerness of the Dark gryvern. A number of others followed through, sniffing the air, ears flicking about and then they disbursed into this new place.

Come, the Elder Naa's voice echoed oddly in Mozer and Astafy's heads. We should inform Sera that you have moved in.

Sera stared at the large creatures with one brow lofted. "Okay, one more time, and this time, please make sense. Wot's going on?"

"We're moving in with you," Astafy replied lightly, tossing her bright white forelock at the small woman. "We want to explore, reproduce, and learn."

"Uh-huh. Alrighty, well, tell me wot you can eat, wot you'd prefer to eat and wot special enviroment things you'll need and we'll have you set up within a week or so."

"Oh, we already took care of that. Wot's this?" Mozer stated and asked in the same breath. He nosed the monitor curiously, sending it perilously rocking.

"Ack, Kaze!" Sera leapt over to the desk, stopping the rocking with a careful hand.

"Oh, a Kaze."

"No, Mozer, that's wot I named my computer."

"Wot's a computer?"

"Well, it's this whole thing here, and this is-- now wait, I need to know wot you mean by 'already took care of it'."

"We're bring our own herds. Wot's this thing?"

"It's a printer, you have herds? Herds of wot?"

"This and that. How does it work? Did you make it?"

"Okay, no more questions from you until I find out wot just happened." Sera looked around at the other two in her large open-air office. The Elder Naa stepped up, They want to explore. Just let them have their way and keep some records. It will be easier for you.

Sera sighed. "I've got classes coming up."

You'll do fine.

"Right-o. Well, if you guys have it all figured out, I've got some places that will definitely be interested in you."

"Yay! Wot's this?"

"That's jell-o, Mozer."

"It jiggles!"

Alrighty, so a gryvern will generally have a specific type of personality in mind for wot they want in a bond, but they won't tell us wot that is, because that'd make everyone's life easier and no gryvern wants to do that.

This is for adults, so they may be a bit picky. ^^;; For now this will be limited towards one bond potential per person, but if none of the personalities work out we'll open it up. Because the personality is so important, please include a full description on their page.

Story stuff would be greatly appreciated. ^^

Ruleness!
1) 1 Bond potential per person.
2) You need a full personality on the page. Either shown throughout a story piece or simply in a stat form.
3) Stories are happier and will give the gryvern a better idea of who they're looking at ( and thus improving your chances of getting one, ne? )
4) If you get a gryvern you must link back to hawkings crest. Not the gryvern page, the main index page, please.
5) This time around the gryvern want people who have no other bonds. This isn't to say they might not consider allowing multiple bonds later, but they want to give this arrangement as much a chance to succeed as possible.

I'm not certain exactly how many are bonding out this time, two definitely with one other who's considering it. There's a lot of interst in this project, however, so I wouldn't be surprised if more of them show up and prowl around to see if someone suits them.

no, bonds don't have to be humanoid, but there's a preference towards that. the real requirement is that the bond be sentient. ^^

This read more like a contest than an accual clutch to me, Sera. I'm not good on writing candidates to begin with, and this had 'you might not get anything even if you do enter' written all over it. At least in my eyes.

That and not knowing what personality to write for...I'm just not that good.

:3 Anything I should know for the offspring? Naming systems? Colourations that are likely from her side? How do castes work, or should I assign them to the offspring? At this point in time, I'm assuming that most offspring would be similarly coloured to her, if her genes show through, and that her fire-ability will come through to her offspring. Is her cartography something that I can pass down, too? Or is it a learned skill?

Lotsa questions...

O_O Also, I peeked around the Orchard and am interested, but confused. XD What do you do there? Is it like the Nexus at all?

Some do. I rarely go over there myself (but yes, they do seem to like horse-things, mostly because the owner of the board does Painted Unicorns...she does do Firebelly Dragons, just not as often).

answers to questions!

gryvern/mahu-ike:
the fire abilities will pass down but cartography is less likely to. her kiddoes might have an affinity for maps and their surroundings tho. the mixes sometimes do strange things. basically, a lot of things change with the mixes. . . hehe gryvern are named in slavic languages, but the mixed offspring aren't required to. ^^ ears have a high possibility of passing, but that's not set. ^^ not is anything else really, other than the Fire Type. ^^

castes are really for full-blooded gryvern only. ^^

the OMB is more of a general cyberadoption site with a lot less cross-breeding. ^^

Whee, alright! So if a dragonet is born mostly black, she'll still be partially fire instead of... shadow? Dark? aligned?
