Okay, I know this has been done already probably somewhere, but I am looking for peoples suggestions on Hosting Sites. Anyone have any good ones to recommend?
A friend and I have a few sites to set up together, and both of us have our own domains but neither of us have sub-domains, so I'm considering getting a domain with sub-domains that we can then both login to. Both my domains are currently on www.doteasy.com, and I could just upgrade one of them, however uploading onto them has been slow lately and keeps cutting out on me (It could just be my internet connection, so I'm going to check when i go home). If it is doteasy's stuff thats making it slow though I'd quite like to go elsewhere.
So I'm looking for suggestions? I don't need hundreds of sub-domains, or masses of space, (Cleo could combine all our shared sites onto one sub-domain if sub-domains are limited), but I'd like somewhere that is relaiable and people have actually used in the past. Doteasy was a recomendation of someone (BSW weyrwoman actually, although she's long gone now), and I've loved it for years - but this slow uploading, and timing out every second file, is a pain.
So yeah, I'm looking for suggestions. Cost isn't a huge issue, although obviously I'd rather not spend all my christmas money on a domain since I already have two and don't really need a third (I just want the sub-domain options). Also, pay yearly would be better too - I hate having to worry about needing money in the bank every month (another downside to doteasy).

That's what I use, unlimited subdomains, awesome other features too. And their cpanel is pretty easy to use once you get used to it...

I use godaddy.com. I used to use doteasy which is good to start out but it really skims on the features (you get what you pay for IMO). Godaddy is a little bit more expensive but it's still pretty cheap and you get way more features. And it's SO much faster. So yeah, I would reccomend that one hands down
I've never heard of e-starr, though.

I've heard of both of them in the past, but never known anyone who's used either... I've looked them both over, but I dunno.
Anyone else had any experience with any domain hosters? Come on, I know more of you have domains then just Astra and Xalia (thank you both for replying btw, estarr was one of the options i was considering as it is, go daddy i couldn't find any info about sub-domains on.).
