lol - and now you know how I feel most of the time...

Whenever you feel bad about leaving those guys there to wait? Remember:

Swim - three years and counting
Geperna - finally hatched after about 21 months or more of waiting
Naughty - finally hatched after more than 2 years

Furry Festival - hasn't even gotten flown yet and it's been up for almost 2 years. :)

I'm planning on hatching the swim and then the You Walk Into A Weyr at some point, before moving on. But yeah, Ty, I'm so right there with ya...

I certainly shan't complain about Kathamus and Rheyanva waiting for only a month and a bit, then, seeing as others have been waiting for over a year... although I must admit to a little impatience, just because they're my first Candidates... But only a little, ickle bit. I won't poke... :)

Heh, as a couple here will attest, I gotcha beat... I had Nate and Oni waiting at Sapphire for like, 7 months as my first candidates, or close to my first... hee. It is frustrating when you don't know where else to find a place, or have no real interest in getting more than one from anywhere, and you have to wait. But... it's like tattoos. Some people get A tattoo. Other people get their FIRST tattoo.... :D

guess which one I am... :) ((I have dragons from about 2/3 of Ryslen's clutches, by the way))

Heh. That must be a lot of Ryslen dragons... or, you know... a lot of dragons in general.

But... I think the first Candidates are definitely the most special ones. I really love how Kathamus and Rheyanva turned out, and they're just that extra bit special to me because they're my first ones...

My first candidates, Nar (gulk) and Morgil, who is still waiting at Ryslen, are fairly special - mostly because I've spent a year working on their history-stories.....

A lot of the folks who've come along in the last 2 years have lucked out. They've gotten in during Avengaea, the new Geperna, the Flurries, etc etc. Many of those who've been around for ages like me and Ty and such, have a LOT of 'normal everyday' pernese 6 color (if you're lucky) dragons. I have around a thousand now (what with the giveaways and exchange dragons padding that number) with around 850 of them with candidates earned at weyr sands. So yeah. A lot of dragons. Indeed. :D I've been SOOO bad about my records, I have a big document with every dragon and their bond listed in order of their website, but ... I've been really bad about adding the giveaways and specials. boo!

Oh I will definitely run the FUrry Festival. There're more than enough new furry riders to participate too, with the giveaways and such. Heck, that even adds an old blood geperna from me. :)

Warning: Pickup pages are image intensive... But the pics are hosted on Photobucket, so it hopefully won't crash.

There are some errors... so if I screwed something up (like genders of your novos (immediately full Draconars, btw)...) please let me know and I'll eventually fix it.

And the dragon babies are all absolutely beautiful. (but I do have a soft spot for Damen's kiddies.. XD) I wish I'd have thought to send in a candidate for one of them. ^^

Okay, I have my two lians up, and I'm still working on the adult story, but I wanted to post that they're up before I forget.

My two are up, in a way... The images are up on newly created stats pages, even if I haven't done much in the way of story, yet.

http://s13.invisionfree.com/Mirus/index.php?showforum=3 - Kathamus and Khasrynth
http://s13.invisionfree.com/Mirus/index ... owforum=16 - Rheyanva and Carethyn

Also, I tracked down as much of their pedigrees as I could. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was, actually... I just got stuck when I reached dragons who don't actually have pages or parents... So I've got as much pedigree as it's possible to find for Narwyn and Petath's clutch... course Narwyn's side will be useful for Narwyn and Shantak's clutch pedigree, too. Anyone who needs the info is welcome to grab it from the pages...

Heh, give me a moment to dredge some info up from my pedigree files. I think I can give you some more information for your two beauties...

Looks like Gold Rikceth hatched from Istabitha's Weyr Clutch #1. The mother was Gold Sasiath, and the father was an unknown Bronze. Other than that, it looks like you lucked out with a simple pedigree. ^_^

Heh, it's really fun when you have dragons whose lineage traces down to /really old/ dragons. I've been having fun scouring the 'net for the archives of long-gone agencies. Talor Cliff, Jerdan, Sapphire, Dawn Sisters, Gallimim... *looks wistful*

Oh, and nothing's more fun than tracing a dragon's line to a Healing Den frenzy. Then you know you potentially have something /very/ interesting on your hands for the rest of the pedigree. ^_^

Cool, thanks for the extra info. I imagine that finding pedigrees will be less fun when I get a hard one to trace...

this is what I got accomplished today, other than finding out that there's not enough room in one of my geocities accounts -- I need to upload my Geperna babies and there's not enough room in the site where the page is... *mutter*
