Okay, I wanna do more with these feathery guys, but I don't know what to call them. (Pretty much all I've got on 'em is that they are intelligent, do not bond, and range from 7 to 12 feet in length.) So...

What would you call this?

Terrible try one: Nandu Draconis, or Flighted Rhea. Because they just remind me of that bird, for some reason. :: snerk ::

Hehee, Astra's long lost brother Nandu...

For some reason, I think it sounds someting like Kestrel, Pawkett, Keshett ... something along those lines. I almost want to say Thestrel but arent those the things in harry potter you can only see if you've witnessed death or something?
