Anyone else around here play Gaia Online? *peers* It has been eating up some of my time recently, and I was kinda curious if anyone else out there had the same issue...

I tried it once, but it was kinda dull... I tried to get involved with roleplaying there, but everyone had their own friendship circles and refused to roleplay with anyone new. I roleplayed with myself for a while, before deciding I could do that just fine in Word, and not have slow page-loading times....

Fishing? O.o it must have gotten a lot more involved than when I used to play. I was into it for awhile during summer 2003 but it was too much like neopets for my taste (oooh, someday I should post my "Why Neopets is a Miniature Totalitarian Government" rant), and while there were some friendly people there, most were kind of elitist snobs who treated you like you were nothing if you hadn't been there from day one (there was a lot of anti-n00bness going around at the time). Maybe I'll check it out to see what's changed just for the fun of it (voice in head: don't do it you'll get addicted! noooo!!!)

I used to do the breedables forum there, but it got too large and I decided to take my Samanayrs away for good. Nowadays I basically only use Gaia to talk with friends over PMs, try to find good roleplayers, and wander around the Towns when I'm bored.
