First drawing, now writing?

Okay, so I've had this little story brewing in the back of my mind for months, but I can't seem to start writing anything. Oh, there's plots and ideas and all kinds of nifty things rolling around in my head, but every time I sit down and try to empty them out... *poof* no one's home.

So in an attempt to unplug whatever is blocking the flow of ideas, I began writing a bit of background and species information. Whoo boy, did I unplug something. I not only detailed the species of one of the characters, I went even further and created a whole new race the first generated from!

And now that it's done... I wanted some opinions on it. I'll eventually be including doodles here and there since I'm a highly visual person and all. Feel free to critique anything and everything, from grammar and spelling to concepts that seem impossible. I'll answer questions, since they'll help me develop this even more.

The outcasts would be more than welcome at Planet Twenty, if you feel like sending any out there. Hell, the Zekirans could help breed the species back to its glory, but it *might* involve some genetic alterations... heh.
