Esecentas Dragon Giveaway- Amazingly Still Open

Believe it or not they are finally done after over a week of work. *laughs* (That means I'm going to have to get to the outlines from Unyko now...)

The good news is that there are 54 color-metal combinations to pick from. The better news is that you get four dragons. Okay, so that may not seem like much and might make it hard for you to pick four you like more than others, there will be clutches in the future, so don't worry. Plus I'll be giving out these beauties at birthdays, and when I make rarer ones there will be a giveaway there too.

And so, onto the information about these pretty little things...

While they are from Carodos (click the pretty banner in my siggy to go there) they are not from Fort Vesire, the man dragon hangout. If you wanna throw them in a story therefor, don't go talking much about Vesire, not that you would. They are in truth from the area of the eastern continent, so for now the west doesn't even know they exist. Whoot. Secret dragons!

Standard abilities are Size Shifting, Illusion Magic, Teleportation, Telepathy, Telekinesis, as well as elemental magics relating to the element of the dragons. There are eight elements: fire, water, wind, earth, storm, ice, dark, and light. Yes, you can breed between differing elements, and even opposing ones.

-Measured in length rather than height because of serpentine nature.
-Size Shifting only allows to be smaller.
-Can bond, sponsor or stay alone.
-Brass low ranking female, tin low ranking male.
-Copper mid female, Steel mid male
-Silver equivalent in rank to pernnese brown and Platinum equivalent to pernnese bronze.
-Gold high ranking female, Silver and Platinum high ranking males.
-While low ranked, mid ranked, and silvers can mate with non-Esecentas, golds less likely to if the other dragon is smaller than themself. Platinums are rarest to mate outside of species unless the female is close in size to them.
-If alone platinums will stay closer to their own element or creatures similarly aligned.
-Do not bond at hatching, rather when they reach maturity.
-In some cases there has been known for an older dragon to bond if it truly comes to trust the one it is bonding.
-All ranks have chance to have dragons of any rank and element, but some are obviously rarer. Example: If a Brass Green and a Tin Green mate they will have more low and mid ranked young with a small chance of a gold, silver or platinum. Most of their offspring would be green as they are passing on similar genes, but yellows would be uncommon as it is their opposing element.
-Of all colors, blacks and whites are the rarest, having a low chance of being born if their parents are not black or white, or their grandparents. Other colors only need one ancestor somewhere along the lines to be that color.
-Dragons of unknown heritage have higher chance of having widely varying offspring when it comes to colors.
-Low ranked will bond any gender, mid rarely bonds opposite gender, high ranked never bond outside of gender.
-Due to naturally independant nature the dragons will not necessarily kill themselves if their bond dies, but will likely become depressed and avoid contact with those who have bonded.

Tins and Brasses tend to be in the area of thirty feet long, Steels and Coppers around forty, Silvers average sixty feet, Golds sixty-five and Platinums can be seventy, but ancient platinums, the leaders of their race, can grow far larger once they are no longer of prime breeding age.

I will be providing names for the cute little things because they are named on a short pattern that I don't feel like typing out at the minute. These dragons are all wild, meaning they have unlimited potential to breed all of the other colors and ranks. I will leave personality up to you.

There were only four so I'm going to have to do something with this extra fifth. Would one of the winners (other than DNS because there are already 6 Esecentas in her possession now...) like to take it? If so tell me. If multiples of ya do, then we'll have to raffle her off.

These babies have longer names because Esecentas names are descriptive. 'Issa shows a non-breeding female and 'Iell is a non-breeding male. That means that these mixed elements are STERILE. Sure, synth away if you want, but they cannot mate. These ones were all raised on Carodos as well before they were sent away, so their personalities are up to me. They are vague leaving you the chance to fill in a bit. These Esecentas will NOT take jobs, as their jobs are those of guardians. They cannot bond, but sponsoring is encouraged heavily, including sending them home to sponsor. *smiles*

Question: are the *colors* (black, white, red, etc) related to *elements*? It's not very clear.

If i were to use these guys as candidates, which i think is allowed -has to reread thier info again- for the high ranks, I'd have to make sure the bond is the same gender, right? >.> sorry, when i read a lot of info at once, I get dumb. ^^;

I've said it before, but now having seen all of them i'll say it again-- GREAT job on the shading. I dunno what to call it, but it looks really good, and that kind is hard to pull off. ._. as is shading on really bright colours, like cyan and yellow, and really light colours, like whites and creams. You pulled it off excellently, for which i writhe in envy~ I always have trouble with that. ^^ -huggles- squee~!

Yeah... those three were the last ones I did and gave me many a headache. *laughs* On top of that, only the metals stay the same. Every color-metal combination is hand shaded via PSP7 (thanks Shi' for that) so that the shade slowly fades into the color at the edges.

Seriously though, basic stats is more than enough where ever you choose. Don't feel obligated to go in depth with personality either. Just because I do doesn't mean you have to...

Have you tried Myrror's personality generator? I use it all the time. It's like, the best. Gives you a very general thing and then I get to flesh it out for myself. Awesome stuff. It should be in the Databases forum with a topic title of Generators.

I've used it~ I also use 4 gens I made with shard's offered code-- generates 3, 7, 12 or 13 words, depending on the code. >.> I'm looking for one with an unbelievably huge ammount of adjectives, which was why i was looking for adjectives lists, but my search has proved futile~ XP it boils down to being lazy~
