Hmm. I'll have to go reread that one... I'm pretty sure dragons have the fork, though.

Well, Kitti Ping didn't change much, just size, claws, and fertility in greens/no firestone chewing in queens. I don't think it would've made sense to alter the digestive system, that would have been way too much trouble and would probably have had disastrous results. After all, they needed the 'dra...

The 'OhmigoshtheyhaveEARS!!!! *shock*' bit for me was in Dragonquest, there's a bit where Mirrim grabs Canth by the ear and drags him out of the weyr. Quite amusing, actually, but I kinda got stuck on the ears. *goes off to look it up* Ah, here we are... The last thing Brekke saw as F'nor obediently...

Aaaah! *hides behind her dragons*

The funny thing about the ears is, I'd never imagined the dragons /having/ ears, so when I came across a mention of such, I had to totally revise my mental image of them. I'm much too attatched to the cover arts, I am.

Err, this one's a bit large...

Male dragon, chestnut brown hide and green eyes, fan-style wings (yes, he can use them to fly, even if they look too small), rather agressive. Enjoy!

Happy birthday! (A bit late, but oh well...)

A nice wyvern-y thing. Female, silver with blue markings, gold horns, red eyes and silver-red wings. Oh, and she likes the number two.

Mememe! Dasmalenra Weir's first clutch is very much in need. I don't even have one candidate for it yet. *is sad* It makes me feel as if I wasted all the time I spent on making the images an' stuff, y'know?

Whatever exactly the right size for a dragon happens to be at the moment. Varies from 'large cat' to 'blue whale', though usually closer to a horse.

The question is not "How fluffy can dragons get?" but "How fluffy can dragons get and still be considered dragons rather than twisted demonic cotton-candy puffs from the dark recesses of a deranged mind?" http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v358/ratgirlneopets/fluffabelle.gif Fluff...

Basically, I'm thinking they'll need something about their size or smaller... they're (as adults, at least) fairly intelligent beasties, and they would find having a larger companion demeaning. No "Here, Flitty, go fetch to newspaper, will you?" type stuff for these dragons. It's more like...

...in a breed of very small dragons? Came up with these doodling today, and was wondering what you thought. There are five stages, five basic colors, and five variants of wing membrane color. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v358/ratgirlneopets/egg.gif Egg... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v358/...

3rd person is fine, I guess. *grin* Mainly I didn't want anyone to be intimidated. There are three stages for each dragon, hatchling, weirling, and adult, and the colors are different sizes. (Queens. Are. Big.) And yes, you can request traditional only, though that still includes itty-bitty gender-n...

Detailed stats are fine, doesn't have to be a story, but I am rather fond of the 'you walk into a cave...' style things and so one of those is also necessary.

I've finally finished one of my many projects, at least... Dasmalenra Weir ( http://www.freewebs.com/dasmalenra_weir/index.htm ) is now open and looking for bonders. Need at least 16 candidates (one for each egg), preferably male with two or three queen candidates thrown in. Requirements are fairly ...
