Appearance: Darker side of Caucasian (ruddy) skin. Olive green hair (yes hair) that fades to bleached-pale tips. Black eyes. Pointed ears with greenish/blond fur at the tips. Stubby Piralan-style (furry) wings with green fluffs fading to bleach blonde at the tips.

Personality: Humourless, Calm, Skeptical. Kind of a low-key shit-disturber.

They specialise in mind control but swear an oath to use it for good (however you're free to break this oath). Will adapt to other Nexus worlds without a problem, can hide ears if necessary (mind control is a wonderful thing).

Name: Thrimal Underfury

Appearance: Green eyes, brown beard, squat, bald, square. Thirmal is built like a brick kiln. His muscular frame gives him a heavyset appearance. Though his head is entirely bald, he sports a thick, wiry beard down to his gut, which he maintains in loose braids. Though he often wears heavy leathers and knitted tunics, it is impossible for him to hide the multitude of scars across his body. Particularly the one splitting his left ear in half. He walks with a limp, favouring his right leg.

Personality: Excitable, boisterous, loyal. Thrimal seems to never run out of energy. Whether it’s eating, playing games, or just talking, he is always the loudest, the most engaged, and the most passionate. He claims that everything is his favourite thing, regardless of whether or not he’s experienced that thing before. Though he can be a little much to handle in social situations, he is a steadfast and loyal friend. He considers trust to be as necessary to life as air (and beer).

Bio: Thrimal’s greatest dream in life was to become rich and famous. He often boasted of his many wild schemes to make this dream come true. Few people took him seriously, save his wife, who always encouraged him to chase his dreams.

The war claimed his wife, children, and home, and nearly his own life. It left him a broken man, devoid of dreams. For many years following the loss, he remained buried in a deep depression.

It took the combined efforts of his remaining friends and family to bring him back to himself. Though he regained his smile, it was never quite as bright as it used to be. His dreams changed as well. Rich and famous wouldn’t cut it anymore. Now he wanted to be a source of frustration for whatever hydras and evil things remained in the world. He wanted to be a dragon rider.

Appearance: Dimitria is a statuesque woman with shiny coppery hair, dark skin and a preference for “Old Hollywood Glamour” clothing. When she enters a room it is hard not to notice her, and she is almost always the life of the party, giving off very levels of charismatic “main character” vibes.

Her eyes are ordinarily a dark brown when they do not go molten gold, although she seems to prefer having them gleam gold. Dimitria is not shy, it shows in her choice of clothing, her body language, and the way she can poke and prod at you with her words.

Personality: Dimitria is a confident and slightly aggressive Project. She has a very strong sense of independence and loves nothing more than asserting her dominance in a room with a new group of people. She likes the excitement of new adventures, and is currently off travelling the Nexus, looking for a new adventure.

Notes: Dimitria is a project who is a very strong telepath, able to pick up thoughts and gossip from every corner of the Nexus. She likes to be “in the know”, and is travelling trying to pick up new and useful information.

Personality: quirky - steadfast - intelligent - protective - adventurous - curious - responsible

Story Bits: Acer was created to help with space exploration and planet colonization. This unit can withstand massive extremes in temperature, pressure, and gravity, with resistance to fire and electrical damage.

Acer is equipped with no weaponry, but is Quite Large and Pretty Strong. This unit mostly uses its big arms for hugging and lifting massive rocks out of the way. Despite its very large size and general bulk, it's dexterous enough to avoid damaging things and cares a great deal about the local wildlife of whatever planet it's exploring.

Acer is fascinated by dragons and the concept of telepathic bonds. It doesn't know if it can bond, but it would certainly like to try. Barring that, sponsoring a few dragons would be lovely too!

Junipher and Cottolis hail from a silkpunk fantasy world, who left their home together as part of a coming of age pilgrimage. (They aren't required to stay together, of course!)

Junipher has a natural talent with instruments and a particularly good ear. She's also sensitive to vibrations, like most of her species, and appreciates music on levels humans can't perceive. Some of her melodies may seem odd or jarring to other species.

Junipher is a bit taken aback by the Nexus but is putting on a brave face for her pilgrimage.

Junipher is fascinated by the vocal ranges of other species, dragons in particular! She's quite frightened of bonding (what a big change!) but is irresistibly lured by the notion. Ideally, she'd love to stand for a clutch of dragons who can speak verbally or have interesting vocal ranges.
