Worpum is a strange beast who slithers through the cracks in the Arx and rarely is ever seen. It is mostly known by the large slime trails it leaves behind it, though there are a very, very few who know it by sight. Worpum is a master of secrets, made all the more valuable because there is very little that can tempt it to divulge. Instead, Worpum likes to help the underdogs of the Arx from time to time. It might whisper ungodly secrets to someone that would otherwise be in imminent danger. Or, it might use its powers to slow time to haul something useful out of the wrong hands and into the right ones.
Why does it like to do this? It's hard to say. Worpum's mind does not work like an average dragon's. It doesn't exactly feel pity or compassion, and it doesn't think in terms of friendship. It just likes to thwart the bigger, badder dragons. Perhaps Worpum considers itself something of a superhero. |
