She learned, years after arrival, that she was near-ish a landmass to the north-east called Nidus Insula, wherein tiny bipedal air-breathing creatures and their air-swimming companions made a living. Sensing an opportunity for mischief, Chella traded ores from deep within her labyrinth with other deep-sea dragons in exchange for their spreading of rumours. 'There's more treasure where that came from, if only these "humans" could dive for it.'

It took some time for the rumour to spread, but eventually she received her first visitors. She led them on a merry chase, scaring the daylights out of them (and nearly getting them killed, though she wasn't aware of it at the time) before their dragon bonds teleported into the water and scared her nearly as badly.

She's learned her lesson, after speaking directly to those huge, powerful beasts. She won't tease or taunt the tiny air-breathers for fun. She does, however, now want more of their company to learn about them. She has a fascination for the land-bound that she can't fully explain to herself. Maybe one day she'll come closer to shore, but she is also very attached to her home. Still, in her time making sparse conversation with the Insulans, she's heard of other creatures which need a home in deep waters, and has offered to help house them, if they'll abide by her rules... most of which are mischievous and opportunistic in nature.
