Spelter is unconcerned with threats from others, choosing to burn those who test her limits (which are vast!) She doesn't kill, preferring to get her food from those who would do her hunting for her. Having built her reputation up as something of an authority figure, she is probably the closest that Nidus Insula will have to a leader, and that is only because she is the only one who is willing and capable of dealing with outside influences while maintaining her bonds with the residents of the islands.

Lately, Spelter has begun to find life on the island boring. Because she's seen as a leader (or at least a very powerful figurehead), people tend to treat her with deference and seriousness. She could use a change of pace. The lack of heat and brightness in her day-to-day have left her feeling a need for something bigger and flashier, though she would never leave her role of her own accord, even for a vacation...
