Waterbending: Siku is a waterbender, with a specialization in the use of ice for offense. Specifically, she can form a pair of huge ice 'gloves' over her hands to block and punch opponents. She is not above freezing others' feet to the ground. |

| Appearance: |
Siku may be short, even by her village's standards (most of the folk who make up the water bending village are relatively short) but she is big in other ways. She usually dresses to play down that attitude, and her clothing is often muck-wracked from days practicing in the water and dredging up soil for clay. She's on the older side, with grooves forming around her big smile and crickles along her eyes. Her brows are thick, and her hair is shaved quite short along the sides. Though it was once quite dark, it is beginning to go to grey. Her skin is weathered and bronzed with the sun, while her eyes are a pale blue. She needs corrective lenses to see clearly. |

Siku is the village leader, a position she did not come to willingly for quite some time. She married Takutsupuk around forty years ago, before he came into power, and liked to tease him about his role as the promised child. She didn't really expect this goading to teflon-coat him against the trials and tribulations that would arise when he finally did inherit leadership, but she did nearly give up on him in exasperation when he stumbled over who his authentic self was vs. his role as a leader.
For her own part, Siku is brave and smart, and she is not kind, necessarily, but when she doesn't pull her punches, it's because she knows that those can be learned from. She is often teaching youngsters a thing or two about how to get along in the world, how to be honest and brave and clever, and how being too much of any of those things is liable to get one tripped or smacked. She sees the future as one that has opportunity to it... but when people begin to get greedy, she is also the one to be a step or two ahead of them to ensure they keep in mind the bigger picture.

Ever since Huxidass was young, she's been more keen on water bending than the humans who she's grown up with. She sees it as a way of living joyfully in balance with the world of her chosen element, and she's become a kind of guru, much like the mythical beasts of old, who has lent her natural talents towards the training of youths who would dare observe her.
Like those mythical beasts, Huxidass is equally as mysterious. She gives Siku a lot of independence-- and vice versa-- though the pair are linked in a heart-to-heart way. Huxidass will occasionally seek out other dragons in the waters around the Nidus to teach them a thing or two, sometimes kindly and sometimes, when they threaten her people, very much not.
