| Personality: | Shriek is a prowler of the depths, enjoying not only hunting but also antagonizing those who might stray into his territory. He has very little qualms about eating sentient creatures, though he is fickle about that and is just as likely to challenge anyone around his size into a feat of strength. He likes to show off, and he likes to impress, so catering to his ego is a classic way (much shared around other parts of the Nidus to keep others safe) to avoid Shriek taking a newcomer for a snack.
Shriek is also sentimental, in an odd way. When he's established a relationship with an outsider, he will regularly come around to annoy them, to push their buttons and rile them up. This is probably Shriek's only way of making friends, as he hasn't really got a friendly bone in his body. |
