Caecae is level-headed under most circumstances, making her all the more dangerous a gossip. She likes to do "research", however most of this is surface level reading and asking around, and she is prone to passing on whatever she knows without verifying her facts. She has one big red button of a topic in her life, and that is her wings: She knows that her Niteshan heritage would have her lose them as she matures, and she is absolutely proud of her Niteshan heritage, even above her jewel-wing heritage. Unfortunately, this means that if anyone comments on her wings (even as a compliment), she will freak. Out. Most who know Caecae will learn very quickly to make no comment, and Caecae herself is perfectly happy to sun herself on the beach to calm down.
In terms of where she fits into Nidus Lacus' rather militant structure... she doesn't. She spends almost all of her time among the humanoids working in the vinyards up the slopes, helping them with their soil and plant issues, and gossiping what she knows about the latest scuffles the dragons have gotten into. She does it for wine, though she is a terrific light-weight, which makes her even more prone to talking. |
