Bloom lives in a world of perpetual winter, and yet they couldn't be happier with this arrangement even though they embody the spirit of the dying breaths of winter before spring fully blossoms. If they were roaming the barren icy planes beyond Winterholme, they might be miserable, but living around the hotsprings near the village, they've found an external source of warmth to cling to, to play with, and to share with others.
